The connection between the plane crash and the movement of Russian equipment was discovered by Novaya Gazeta journalist Pavel Kanygin, writes “Columnist«.

It is noted that at the disposal of the publication were documents on ensuring the safety of the movement of troops on the roads of Russia in June 2014 of the year. It follows from them that more than 170 Russian military air defense units were located near the border with Ukraine.

Earlier, the International Investigation Team (JIT), which was investigating the tragedy, found out that the Buk launcher belonged to the 53rd Air Defense Brigade of the Russian Federation and was transferred from Kursk.

This fact was confirmed by the telephone call of Captain Belyaev, the duty officer of the 11 Regional Military Automobile Inspectorate (VAI) from 22 June 2014. He gave the order to organize the accompaniment of military equipment. It is noteworthy that the same document confirms the Bellingcat investigation that the personnel of the 69 brigade was involved in the movement of equipment from Kursk.

The document was also analyzed, signed by Lt. Col. 69 of the Aladyin Brigade, which confirmed the route of the convoy from 23 to 25 June from Kursk to the Millerovo military base on the border with Ukraine.

An extract from the order of the commander of the 32406 unit was also published, which was tasked with providing food for personnel on the border with Ukraine.

At the same time, journalists noticed an important detail - the personnel arrived in Millerovo three weeks earlier than their equipment. The military was credited to the boiler supply and immediately removed from it.

“Judging by these details, the anti-missile fighters clearly did not intend to stay long on “combat duty” 30 km from the border and, together with their dry rations, seemed to have left Millerovo for another place. Is it so? And how can we explain that soon one of the vehicles of the Kursk air defense brigade was spotted on the other side of the border?” Kanygin noted after analyzing all the documents.
