54-year-old Brisbane resident (Australia) Neil Parker went to Cabbage Tree Creek National Park to climb a waterfall. When he began to climb the rock, he slipped and fell into a waterfall.

As a result of the fall, Parker broke his leg and wrist. He independently provided first aid, and then did everything possible so that the rescuers could find him.

“I have repeatedly participated in rescue operations and knew that I needed to crawl into the open space. I had some idea where I was and realized that no one would have found me there, ”the man recalls.

After that, Parker crawled to an open meadow for two days and dragged his broken leg behind him, moving it with his hands. He had to survive, eating a handful of nuts, protein bars and candies, which were designed for a three-hour trip.

As a result, the rescue team found the victim and delivered him to the hospital. Doctors were shocked at Parker's story and said they had never encountered anything like it before.

“This was the first time I heard of such a case. For a man with two broken limbs, he did a great job! With an ankle fracture, as he had, a limb can be said to be useless and only makes the movement more difficult. He could not even lean on her, and he had to drag her along with him. And this is with a broken wrist! ”- Nicola Ward, orthopedic surgeon, shared her impressions.
