In a water park in California, there was a massive brawl after two families began to conflict over a beach towel. After the fight, one person is in critical condition.

Police arrived at Raging Waters Waterpark, located in Sacramento, California, near 15: 28 on Sunday, 25 August. According to officials, 35-year-old Christopher Neves of Modesto was found unconscious and without a pulse.
Health workers responded quickly and restored his heartbeat. He was urgently sent to the nearest hospital, where he is now in a coma.

Everest Robillard, head of the Cal Expo police department, said officers stopped a fight involving about 40 people.
Two families, each with 15-20 people, began to argue when one of the family members allegedly took a beach towel belonging to another family member.
“It started with a beach towel and then escalated into verbal abuse and profanity — one family got angry because they used profanity in front of their children,” Robillard said.

Robillard said alcohol played an important role at the start of the fight. One witness recounted how someone broke a chair against another person’s head during a fight.
The water park was closed until the end of the day. The investigation is ongoing.
