The writer and humorist Mikhail Zadornov died: the most eloquent expressions about America

Zadornov himself refused to comment on his illness, explaining his reluctance to attract excessive media attention.

According to the Russian media, shortly before his terrible diagnosis, Mikhail Zadornov was going to make a geopolitical comedy about America and Russia.

“About a year ago, Mikhail sent me a script in which he offered me the role of advisor to the president. Actually, this film should have been called “Advisor to the President,” and it should have become a geopolitical comedy. In general, of course, the news is terrible, I don’t believe that this happened, and still I want to wait for some official announcement,” said “TV Star» variety parodist Mikhail Grushevsky.

Zadornov was born in Latvia in 1948 year. He gained wide popularity thanks to satirical concerts that were broadcast on Russian federal channels.

As a humorist, Zadornov is known for his critical position towards Western, especially American, culture and is the author of the famous expression in Russia: “After all, Americans are stupid!”
