New data provided by 24 / 7 Wall Street from the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) show that the dollar is the most expensive in America’s “poorest states” such as Mississippi and Alabama. In general, the purchasing power in Magnolia is almost 35 percent higher than in New York.

In New York, 100 dollars cost just the 86,51 dollar, and 100 dollars in Mississippi are priced at the 115,74 dollar.

The dollar's balance fluctuates frequently—both within U.S. borders and abroad—depending on exchange rates, Treasury bills and foreign exchange reserves.
