How many actually died in the Kemerovo cinema: data cashiers

By the evening of March 26, rumors intensified online about a possible underestimation of the number of victims of the fire in the Winter Cherry shopping center. In particular, the most shocking figures were named - from 300 people onwards. Some settlements close to Kemerovo were mentioned, from where children were brought to sessions by bus. No confirmation of this information was found. Let us remind you that so far 64 people are officially listed as dead.

As it became known "MK", one of the users posted on the Internet screenshots of tickets sold for daytime sessions. Let us remind you that at the time of the fire the show was taking place in three halls with a total capacity of 542 seats. People managed to evacuate from the largest hall (256 seats). It is not known exactly whether all the dead were in one cinema hall or two. However, as of the morning of March 25, according to a published screenshot from the Winter Cherry website (there is no confirmation of the authenticity of this), 161 out of 286 tickets were sold for the films Peter Rabbit and Sherlock Gnomes. Most likely, the remaining tickets were sold out . In addition, children under the age of 5 were admitted to the session without a seat, so they were not taken into account at all.

According to information previously transmitted by fire fighters, 35 people died in one hall. Whether the rest of the dead were from another hall, how many there were in total and how they managed to escape - these details are still not clear.
