Teenage girl with a genetic disorder told CNNApple Siri software helped save her from Hurricane Harvey.

14-year-old Tyler Frank woke up in a flooded house, which ended up in a flood zone after a hurricane. The eldest brother Frank, 18-year-old Joseph, carried her on his back to the roof.

Cold conditions have provoked Frank's attack of a hereditary disease - sickle cell anemia, which occurs when blood cells get stuck in blood vessels. She suffered from severe pain.

But after her calls to the help services and pleas in social networks could not attract attention, she decided to use Siri voice software, thanks to which she got through to the coast guard.

The next day a helicopter arrived. But rescuers told the family that they can only take the elderly, as the overwhelming number of them need them.

"I told him, yes, I have a child with sickle cell disease and she is very sick and I need you to take her," Tyler's mother Tameko Frank said. “She was standing right in front of him. He turned around, got on the helicopter and flew away."

After the girl called the Coast Guard again for a number that Siri chose, another helicopter arrived the next morning and the whole family was rescued.

After they were given medical care, Frank was placed in a hotel. The family lost their home and car as a result of flooding, but they managed to save their lives.

Meanwhile, hurricane harvey who caused massive flooding and devastation in Texas and Louisiana, retired from the coast of the United States.
