Storm in the USA: 7 people died, more than two million without electricity. A PHOTO. VIDEO
At least 7 people died, more than two million were left without electricity due to a powerful storm that hit the east coast of the United States. The states of New York, Virginia, Maryland and Massachusetts were particularly affected.
Storm winds threw advertising posters, pillars and trees. This was the main cause of death. In some areas, torrential rains have been replaced by heavy snowfalls. Experts warned of the danger of flooding, reports Time.
Energy companies say they will need several days to restore electricity in some areas.
The bombing cyclone continued to affect traffic delays on Saturday, the day after it hit the region and caused some of the worst damage since the Superstorm Sandy in 2012.

At one of the airports in Virginia, in Arlington, due to an abnormally gusting wind, the 10 aircraft could not land for minutes.
Residents of New England and surrounding counties suffered from heavy flooding during the tides on Saturday, although meteorologists said that the worst was over for most of the districts and the cyclone had gone hundreds of kilometers into the sea.
