New Jersey police officer accidentally stopped officer who helped him to be born 27 years ago
A New Jersey sergeant met a retired police officer who helped him be born 27 years ago.
Sergeant Michael Patterson stopped Michael Bailey after a minor traffic violation of 1 in June in Kingwood Township. When both men talked, Bailey mentioned that he served as an officer in Piscataway. Petterson told him that he was from the same city, and Bailey asked where he grew up.
When he heard that a young sergeant grew up in Po-Place, he remembered how in October 1991, when he was a novice, took birth in one woman, who began to give birth ahead of time. The child's father called the doctor, who told Bailey what to do until help arrived.
Bailey remembered the color and style of the house, and the child’s name was Michael.
Patterson then extended his hand to Bailey: “My name is Michael Patterson, sir. Thank you for helping me be born,” said Sgt.
The families of both were delighted with such a meeting after 27 years. Patterson and his mother welcomed Bailey and his wife in their home.
