Senate refused to liquidate Obamacare

Republicans in the Senate of the US Congress decided not to vote on another bill to repeal and replace the system of preferential health insurance. Obamacare due to the futility of its adoption by the upper house.
It is reported Reuters, to quote Republican Senator Richard Shelby: “There is no need to vote if you know what the result will be. I think that the issue of healthcare is not closed. We still have time to deal with this issue this year and I believe we must do so.”
The bill was previously introduced to the upper house by Republican senators Lindsey Graham and Bill Cassidy. They propose replacing the current system of state subsidies for insurance companies with state grants. In addition, local authorities will be able to lift a number of restrictions on insurers.
Democrats initially stated that, as before, they would oppose this attempt to cancel the reform carried out in 2010 by former President Barack Obama. Replacing Obamacare was one of the main campaign promises of the current head of the Washington administration, Donald Trump.
"Seven years of promises to cancel and replace, and some senators still doubt," Trump complained on Twitter on Sunday. A day earlier, he wrote: “Large block subsidies for states are a good idea. Control and management will be more effective. ”
