Seven products at ALDI were named 'Product of the Year 2021': what to buy online

Since entering the US in 1976, Germany-based grocery store chain ALDI has grown its presence in America to over 2000 stores in 36 states. Many shoppers love the chain for its diverse selection of merchandise, amazing discounts, and ALDI's weekly deals.

This popular food chain is now topping the charts with a whopping seven Product of the Year 2021 winners.

ALDI's products led the way in seven different categories: spirits, pastries, breakfast, cheese, convenience foods, sauces and condiments, and savory snacks. The results were obtained from a national survey of 40 US shoppers conducted by the global market research firm Kantar.

Mike Nolan, CEO of Product of the Year, said the results of the survey can serve as a guide to best-in-class products and, fortunately for shoppers, ALDI has the potential to become a one-stop-shop for some of them.

1 Peaks and Tides Pinot Noir

Available at ALDI for just $12,99, this red wine is made from grapes grown in Sonoma County, California. It goes well with truffle risotto, beef tenderloin with mushrooms, or potatoes with thyme and goat cheese. With 13,9% ABV, this wine won the 2022 award for the best alcoholic drink.
