Sarah Sanders: 'God wanted Donald Trump to become president'
White House spokeswoman Sarah Hakabi Sanders said the Donald Trump presidency is part of his calling from God.

She stated this during an interview for the Christian Broadcast Network, writes Politico.
“I think God calls us all to fill different roles at different times, and I think he wanted Donald Trump to be president. And that’s why he’s in this position, and I think he’s done a great job of supporting a lot of the things that people of faith really care about,” Sanders said.
Trump has emphasized his Christian faith many times, and voters who profess this religion have overwhelmingly supported him in the elections in the 2016 year.
During his term of office, Trump and his administration dealt with a number of key issues supported by evangelicals, such as restricting the right to abortion also some contraceptive costs in health insurance plans) and expanding school selection programs that are likely to benefit private religious schools.
More recently, Trump in his tweet endorsed the controversial idea of introducing biblical literacy lessons in public schools.
