1. Mount Evans Scenic Byway, Idaho Springs, Colorado
The road extends 4,3 km in height and claims to be the highest asphalt road in North America. The view from the top is breathtaking.
2. Canton Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA
No steep road compares to Canton Avenue Pittsburgh. This street has a brake gradient 37 degrees. This is officially the coolest public street in the country.
3. Tail of the Dragon at Deal's Gap, Robbinsville, North Carolina
The 129 highway 17,7 km long has at least 300 turns. Fans of extreme driving by car and motorcycle love this site, which is popular in the summer months.
