In Massachusetts, the plane crashed into a residential building

In Plainville, Massachusetts, the Beechcraft BE36 crashed into a residential building. As a result of the crash killed the pilot and two passengers, including a child.

Residents managed to leave the building, which caught fire. According to state police spokesman Dave Procopio, the fire was extinguished within three hours.

The aircraft was heading from Lancaster Airport (PA) to the Norwood Memorial (Massachusetts). The pilot told air traffic controllers that he could not maintain a given height, and help was needed. “We are losing engines. There are no more engines, ”said the pilot.

The dispatchers offered to land the aircraft on the Interstate 495 highway, but the pilot failed to do so. According to CNN, the National Transportation Safety Committee will investigate the incident.
