Rye bread and buckwheat: what food do our immigrants in the USA lack
After emigrating to the United States of America, many former residents of Russia are faced with the problem of nutrition. Americans prefer fast food and other junk food, which is why many people are overweight and obese. Channel Author "Ruso Turisto" on "Yandex.Zen" talks about what products familiar to our people are hard to get in the States.
The main problem is the poor quality of raw materials. The United States is considered the global “capital” of GMO products. Therefore, immigrants are advised to cook their own food and, if possible, refuse to visit restaurants and cafes. Various flavor enhancers, monosodium glutamate, are added to almost every dish.

But they are rarely used by anyone for their intended purpose. In this case, the drink is tasteless. It is also difficult to find loose tea - Americans prefer packaged packages.
3. Cottage cheese (grainy)

4. Freshly squeezed juice
Instead of juices, residents of the United States consume a variety of carbonated drinks. At the same time, high-quality packaged juices are sold. But freshly squeezed juice can not be found even in a hotel or restaurant.

Buckwheat is very popular in Russia. This is due to the following factors:
- low cost;

In America and European countries, instead of buckwheat, they eat other cereals.
In the United States, you rarely find gooseberries, strawberries, and currants on sale. Moreover, many berries grow on the territory of the state (South and North America). But they are not in demand among residents.
