The Russian-language channel RTVI expands its presence in the US market and will delight viewers with new programs.

The RTVI channel, widely known in Russian-speaking America, is expanding its presence in the USA and Israel, and also creating new information and entertainment programs, where the quality and relevance of the content, lively language, short and bright formats will become key factors in the dialogue with the audience.

The first country in which there will be major changes in the broadcasting schedule will be the United States. News broadcasting will be reduced by half, and instead it will appear on the air informative and entertaining content, local programs and news of the West Coast, the channel said.

“First of all, it is necessary to note the results that the channel’s team has shown over the past 2 years. We were able to expand our presence among the Russian-speaking audience, increasing it from 6,5 to more than 10 million people,” said Ruslan Sokolov, owner of RTVI.

He added that the channel is coming out with a new strategy based both on local, educational and entertaining content, and on updating existing projects. The author’s program “Editorial” by Alexey Pivovarov, “Amateur” with host Vitaly Dymarsky, the third season of the program “Russian norms!” have already been aired. with Elizaveta Osetinskaya, the first author’s program of the US blogger Tatiana Rhodes “Rodos”, films by Leonid Parfenov from the series “Russian Jews” and many others are being prepared for release.

“The audience’s interest will be aroused by brightly presented, entertaining and educational content that outperforms news. In addition, people are interested in information provided by local journalists covering local issues. RTVI’s new strategy in terms of content creation meets the interests of the channel’s current and new audience. At the same time, honest, free and unbiased presentation of information remains the main priority of our editorial staff, in which we do not take sides,” explained the essence of the new strategy, Alexey Pivovarov, general producer of RTVI.

“We believe it is important not only to change the presentation of news in accordance with the interests of our audience, but also to raise topics of local significance, which are often more important than the global information agenda. At the same time, we are taking a step forward in the quality of information delivery and creating new formats for our TV channel in order to win a new Russian-speaking audience,” noted Ekaterina Kotrikadze, director of RTVI in New York.

Today RTVI is a socio-political multi-platform media outlet. In addition to editorial centers in New York and Moscow, the channel has correspondent offices in Tel Aviv and Berlin, as well as a network of journalists around the world. In addition to traditional television, RTVI has a website, social networks and instant messengers - something without which modern media cannot be imagined. The portal's monthly audience is 16,3 million people in more than fifty countries around the world.
