Russian-speaking immigrant deceived American insurance companies by almost $5 million
In the USA, a Russian-speaking man was charged fraud charge with insurance in the amount of $ 4,8 million. Writes about this ABC27.

Sergey Duman, 45, from Las Vegas, Nevada, was involved in a scheme to defraud US private health insurance companies between January and June 2020, according to Attorney John Gurganus.
Investigators said Duman purchased Allentown-based telemedicine company Cedar Care Pharmacy in January 2020 and routinely submitted prescriptions to insurance companies that were issued without the said patient's knowledge.

The Cedar Care pharmacy then fraudulently filed prescription reimbursement claims with private insurance companies and Medicaid, even though the pharmacy never provided the prescribed drugs to patients, according to authorities.
The total amount of fraudulent claims exceeds $4,8 million.

Duman was charged with wire fraud. He faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison, post-release supervision and a fine.
ForumDaily managed to find Facebook user under the name Sergey Dumanwho lives in Las Vegas, Nevada. The page claims that the man immigrated to the United States from Chelyabinsk (Russia) and is married. And although the name and place of residence are the same, we cannot say that it is exactly him.
