Famous dancer with Russian roots arrested in California for domestic violence

Chigvintsev's alleged victim is cooperating with police and has asked for privacy as authorities investigate whether the dancer has a history of violence against her or anyone else, TMZ, a celebrity news platform, reported.
It is unclear whether Nikki Bella, Chigvintsev's wife, was involved in the incident. However, she was apparently in Napa on Wednesday because she posted a photo of herself on social media after getting a facial at a local spa.

Chigvintsev denied the allegations, telling the Daily Express: "I believe I treated Fern with respect and genuine care and these claims about me are antithetical to everything I believe in and who I am."
On Monday, the dancer and Nikki celebrated their second wedding anniversary. 40 year old Nikki Bella (real name Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colas) is an American former professional wrestler, actress, television personality, and entrepreneur. She is best known for her time with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), where she gained much popularity. Nikki debuted in WWE in 2007, alongside her twin sister Brie, and they performed as a duo called The Bella Twins.
The former WWE diva gushed about her husband in her dedication post.
"This song is our love story. I will never forget where I was when I asked Jesus about Artem," she wrote, sharing a clip of their wedding day, with Elvis' "Can't Help Falling in Love" performed by Haley Reinhart playing in the background.
"When this song came on, I knew I was falling in love with him and it was all meant to be. Happy anniversary. I love you!" she wrote.
Chigvintsev responded in kind by posting several photos from their wedding on Instagram.
"Happy anniversary, my love, I can't imagine my life without you. You are my everything," Chigvintsev wrote next to the wedding photos.

The couple exchanged vows in a lavish 2022 ceremony in Paris after meeting as partners on Dancing with the Stars in 2017. At the time, Nikki was engaged to WWE star and actor John Cena.
Nikki Bella and the wrestler called off their engagement in 2018, and the following year, Nikki confirmed her relationship with Chigvintsev.
Nikki and Chigvintsev have a child together: a four-year-old son Matteo.
