Royal Caribbean Offers Discounts on Fall Cruises
The cruise line regularly runs sales, but now they have a new promotion. According to the cruise line, September and October are the most popular months for birthdays in the U.S., and birthday celebrants will receive additional benefits, reports Royal Caribbean Blog.

Anyone with a birthday in September or October can book a cruise in one of those months and take advantage of the new sale.
From May 8 to June 5, 2025, use a special code to get extra onboard credit and access to special events. To participate, use code BDAYBASH for cruises departing August 30 - October 31, 2025. Promotion valid on all cruises departing August 30, 2025 - October 31, 2025, excluding those departing from Boston, Seward, and Seattle.

Using the code allows the third and fourth guests in the same stateroom (booked with the first two full-fare guests) to travel free, plus receive up to $200 in onboard stateroom credit as a birthday gift:
- Cruises of 5 nights or less:
- Inside and Ocean View Staterooms: $50 per stateroom
- Balcony cabins and suites: $100 per cabin
- Cruises of 6 nights or more:
- Inside and Ocean View Staterooms: $100 per stateroom
- Balcony cabins and suites: $200 per cabin
The Royal Birthday Bash offer may be combined with BOGO60, Kids Sail Free, promotional onboard credits, Next Cruise offers, instant discounts, limited discounts (e.g. senior, resident, military), promo code offers, Crown and Anchor discounts, and shareholder bonuses. The Royal Birthday Bash offer may not be combined with any other promotions or offers, including but not limited to standard group rates, interline rates, travel agent rates, travel agent friends and family rates, weekly sales, and Net rates.
The Royal Birthday Bash offer is available to residents of the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and several other countries.
The cruise line says all passengers on these cruises will be able to enjoy the planned activities, but those with birthdays in September or October will receive “especially special surprises” during their Royal Caribbean vacation. This includes balloons, exclusive signature cocktails, special birthday giveaways and gifts, and, of course, plenty of birthday cake.
Once you book (or if you've already booked), from May 8, 2025 through June 13, 2025, there's a special discount on purchases in the Cruise Planner. You can get 50% off the Unlimited Dining Package, Thrill Waterpark, and Hideaway Beach for cruises visiting Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas, plus 40% off the Deluxe Beverage Package and Multi-Device Internet Package.

The idea for the sale came from a meeting with Royal Caribbean’s CEO. Vicki Fried, senior vice president of sales and support for trade and service at Royal Caribbean International, said she attends monthly meetings in the office of Michael Bailey, president and CEO of Royal Caribbean International. Royal Caribbean’s marketing team regularly surveys guests to find out what they’re doing right and what they’d like to change.

The meetings cover a variety of topics, from food to activities and entertainment. This month's theme was onboard celebrations. Fried noted that one in three Royal Caribbean passengers celebrates something while on a cruise.
"The most popular thing is celebrating birthdays," she explained. "Anniversaries are second. Other popular occasions include honeymoons, babymoons and bachelor parties. So we decided to have a party starting tomorrow because we love to celebrate."
They chose birthdays in September, October and August as these are the most popular times of the year.
