Russian Andrei Eremin complained that he was removed from the flight Delta air lines for the "occupation of the Crimea." The airline responded that the passenger violated safety regulations, reports RIA News.

Tuesday on the page of the Russian Embassy in Washington in Facebook the message of a man named Andrei Eremin was reprinted, who described the incident that happened to him on a plane of an American airline Delta.

“The passenger next to me refused to fly with me, because, as he says, I am an occupier of Crimea, like all other Russian citizens... Delta supported him. As a result, I had to take another flight much later,” the man complained.

“God bless America. It’s time to go home after 22 years of living here,” the author of the post added.

The airline, in response to a request from RIA Novosti, described the situation differently: “While flight 1588 from Seattle to Atlanta, departing on July 24, was preparing to take off, a late arriving passenger broke through the closed door at the boarding gate and thereby caused alarm is triggered."

The company noted that the client was interrogated by the police, and then the booking was transferred to a later flight to Atlanta.

Eremin himself said that he would sue the airline.
