Russian went to prison for refugees
23-year-old Russian, an activist who spoke out against the aggression of Russia in Ukraine and Syria, Vladimir Ruf was in prison for refugees in the United States. About this in Facebook writes human rights lawyer Olga Tomchin, who organized a fundraiser to get Ruff out of prison.
According to her, Ruff was forced to flee Russia. After traveling to Mexico, he sought asylum at the US border.
“He was then sent to immigration detention, where he lived for about a year in Orange County, California, only to apply for asylum,” Tomic reports.
She said that now the immigration judge issued a debt obligation in the amount of $ 25000. After paying the obligation, Ruf may again be released.
