Russia can reduce the purchase of condoms abroad
Government procurement of condoms, defibrillators, dental instruments and dozens of other medical products from abroad may be limited.
This is stated in the draft resolution prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The draft notes that in this way the ministry intends to increase competition in the medical device market.
X-ray machines, scanners, sterilizers, breast exoprostheses, artificial heart valves, an artificial left ventricle of the heart, as well as antiseptics and disinfectants are among foreign products that may be restricted.
Restrictions will not affect medical products from Belarus, Kazakhstan and Armenia.
