Russia will collect fingerprints and medical data from foreigners visiting the country
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law obliging all foreigners to be fingerprinted when entering Russia for a period of more than three months, as well as to provide medical certificates confirming the absence of dangerous diseases. More told Present Tense.

A foreigner is obliged to do all these procedures within 90 days from the date entry to Russia. Foreigners who come to work must do this within 30 days.
Fingerprinting and photo registration in Russia will be carried out once, however, medical tests for dangerous infectious diseases, including HIV, must be repeated after 30 days have passed from the deadline set by the Ministry of Health.
The requirement to be fingerprinted and photo-registered will not apply to children under six years old and citizens of Belarus, as well as diplomats and their families.

Russian migration authorities, according to current legislation, require medical certificates from foreigners only upon obtaining a temporary residence permit in Russia, a residence permit in the Russian Federation or a labor patent. Foreigners require a certificate of the absence of HIV infection and a certificate of the absence of drug addiction and infectious diseases, for which you need to undergo a medical examination by a therapist, phthisiatrician, dermatovenerologist, psychiatrist, narcologist, as well as take a blood test for HIV infection and syphilis, a clinical blood test , urine analysis for the presence of psychotropic substances and general urine analysis. In addition to this, they are required to have a fluorographic image of the lungs for the presence of tuberculosis.

In addition, the Interior Ministry recently announced that it plans to introduce a so-called loyalty agreement, which foreigners will sign upon entry. By signing this loyalty agreement, they confirm their awareness of, among other things, the consequences of non-compliance with the established rules and agree not to harm Russia. They will also be obliged to pay the costs associated with possible deportations if they violate the terms of the agreement.
Earlier, the Russian government approved the requirements for the minimum level of knowledge of the Russian language, history and fundamentals of Russian legislation for foreign workers who want to obtain a work permit, migration patent or temporary residence permit.
