Russian soldier received a life sentence for the murder of an Armenian family

Russian soldier Valery Permyakov received a life sentence for the murder of the Avetisyan family in Armenian Gyumri.
Permyakov earlier, as wrote ForumDaily, pleaded guilty to murder. The court fully satisfied the requirement of the prosecution.
The trial of the murder case began in December last year on the territory of the 102 military base in Gyumri, where Permyakov was serving in military service.
According to the investigation version, on January 12 of the year 2015, ordinary Permyakov left the service on guard. After that, as the investigators established, the deserter came to the house of the Avetisyan family, shot a 6 man and mortally wounded a six-month-old child.
Permyakov was detained by Russian border guards while trying to cross the Armenian-Turkish border near the village of Bayandur on the border with Turkey, in the western part of Armenia.
In court, he stated that he had left the unit in order to escape to Turkey. According to the private soldier, he took the machine gun and bayonet with him only to scare away the dogs on the border.
As a result, it was decided that charges of desertion and theft of weapons should be considered by the Russian garrison court - in August last year, Permyakov was sentenced to 10 years in prison in this case.
For the massacre Permyakova was tried by an Armenian court, but according to Russian laws. Experts recognized the Russian soldier sane.
