Russian singer canceled a tour in the United States, fearing arrest in the case of Trump

Russian singer Emin Agalarov, who helped organize Trump's infamous team meeting with a Kremlin lawyer who offered compromising evidence on Hillary Clinton, canceled his US tour a few days before. The executor explained the cancellation by the fact that he did not receive enough guarantees of his freedom and security in the territory of the country.

Emin Agalarov - known as Emin - is worried about being arrested as a witness at the initiative of prosecutor Robert Mueller, who previously expressed a desire to meet with the Russian musician in the case of Russian interference in the US presidential election campaign in 2016, writes The Daily Mail.

The Russian singer was scheduled to perform at a popular New York concert hall on Saturday, and later give concerts in Miami and Los Angeles, but announced his decision to cancel the tour due to “circumstances beyond my control,” which he wrote in on your Instagram.

His lawyer told CNN that the negotiations on the investigation of Muller were interrupted. Agalarov himself told Bloomberg:

“I have a feeling that the US side does not have good intentions - rather, they have a desire, given this anti-Russian hysteria, to turn all this into a circus performance with the participation of me, a famous person.”

The decision was made, despite the fact that in an exclusive interview last month, he said that he was not worried about his visit to the United States and did not hide anything about his involvement in the meeting.

At a meeting in June 2016, Donald Trump Jr., President’s son-in-law Jared Kushner and Chairman of the Election Commission Paul Manafort (now a convicted criminal) met with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya at Trump Tower.

The meeting was organized at the request of Emin by his British promoter Rob Goldstone, who sent an e-mail to Trump Jr. asking "to provide official documents and information that would expose Hillary and her relations with Russia." The answer came: "If this is what you say, I like it."

Trump Jr. called the meeting a waste of time, stating that Veselnitskaya spoke about the problem of the ban on adoption of Russian children by Americans, and Emin told DailyMailTV that the meeting was "useless" and "a complete joke."

“The purpose of my trip to the USA is a tour. I haven’t been to the States for a whole year because I was busy touring Europe and Russia, and it’s time to return,” he recently commented on the trip.

In December, Emin refused to say whether Muller, his team, or members of Congress contacted him to testify about numerous ongoing investigations.

When asked if Muller offered him immunity, he replied: “No, as far as I know.”

Emin's father Araz Agalarov is a billionaire developer. Emin himself participated in an attempt to create a model of the Trump Tower project in Moscow after the Miss Universe 2013 competition, with which Trump and the Agalarovs collaborated. Agalarov's potential deal with Trump has reached the stage of either a non-disclosure agreement or letter of intent.

Questions about how long Trump continued to discuss the project in Moscow after participating in the elections were repeatedly raised until recently, when attorney-at-law President Rudi Giuliani said that negotiations were going on, “probably,” until election day 2016.

Michael Cohen, Trump's former attorney, pleaded guilty in November of lying to Congress that the potential deal to build the Trump Tower was over.

Emin told DailyMailTV that he himself initiated the idea of ​​a deal between his family business and Trump.
