Ron DeSantis was involved in an accident in Tennessee
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who is running for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024, was involved in a car accident in Tennessee on July 25 but was not injured, reports Reuters.
“The Governor was involved in a car accident this morning while driving to an event in Chattanooga, Tennessee,” Brian Griffin, a spokesman for DeSantis' 2024 presidential campaign, said in a statement. “He and his team were not injured. We appreciate the prayers and good wishes for his continued protection during the campaign.”

Griffin also said that an unspecified number of employees were in the car.
