Reuters accused of distorting information

Peter Fedotov, a witness to the crash of Boeing in Ukraine, in an interview with RT, said that Reuters attributed to him words that he did not say.

12 March Reuters posted materialin which, based on eyewitness accounts was approvedthat the Malaysian "Boeing" shot down from the territory of the separatists. One of the witnesses was Fedotov.

As stated in the report, Fedotov told the camera that the missile fired from the Ukrainian territory, and not the record stated the opposite - they launched the missile from the territory controlled by the separatists.

March 30 RT TV channel released an interview with Peter Fedotov. He said that he should believe what he said under the tape. According to the witness, he didn’t talk about a Boeing with a Reuters correspondent without a camera.

Glavred RT Margarita Simonyan reportedthat the channel asked Reuters to comment on the statement by Peter Fedotov. The agency has not yet commented.
