According to the study, the residents of California, New York, and Texas were most exposed to such calls.

It is interesting that in August and September the activity of spam calls was low, and such a clear surge in October may indicate that fraudsters found a new way to circumvent the security measures taken.

Spam calls are the main complaint of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). More than 200 000 complaints are submitted annually, which is 60% of all complaints received by the FCC.
