Flight from New York made an emergency landing due to smoke in the cabin

Airline flight JetBlue from New York to Palm Beach, Florida, was forced to make an emergency landing in North Carolina due to smoke in the cabin.

Flight No. 461 flew from LaGuardia Airport to 7: 30, two hours after departure, the pilot informed the dispatcher about the smoke in the plane and received permission to land at the airport Raleigh-durham in north carolina reports Daily Mail.

The airline explained the emergency landing “mechanical problems”.

After landing, six passengers received medical assistance right at the airport, two more people were hospitalized. There are no threats to the lives of the passengers, they have not received dangerous injuries, however, some of them complained of a headache and a burning sensation in their eyes.

Airbus A320, having 160 passenger seats, was supposed to land in Florida at 10: 20, however, due to problems, it arrived at its final destination in 17: 02.
