Passengers of the Delta flight in Denver were evacuated due to smoke in the cabin. Video

Passengers aboard the Delta Air Lines flight were forced to evacuate onto the runway at Denver International Airport after reports of smoke in the cabin.

The passenger 153 was evacuated through emergency exits located on the wing.

One person went to the University of Colorado hospital Uchealth, Said Denver Post with reference to the representative of the airport.

Among the passengers were those who received minor injuries during the evacuation, a spokesman said.

“Customer and member security Delta "is our top priority and we apologize for the concern this situation has caused," an airline spokesperson said.

Another passenger, Rachel Naphtel, wrote in Twitterthat she became ill after the evacuation. She also claims that her child was removed from the plane last, writing that it was the worst for her.

Delta apologized for the incident in a brief statement received by Fox News.

"After arriving in Denver and during the approach to the gate, Delta Flight 1854 from Detroit to Denver stopped on a taxiway where passengers were evacuated due to smoke in the cabin. Passengers were transported to the terminal by buses,” the airline said.
