British Airways flight fell into a snow trap

Heavy snowfall caused problems for passengers of two flights of the company at once. British Airways from Berlin to London.

Flight BA983 took off from Germany with a 5-hour delay, and 180 passengers ended up back in Berlin, almost reaching their destination - the plane had less than an hour's flight to London Airport, reports The New York Post.

All this happened because of heavy snowfall in London, landing was impossible, so the plane turned back.

В British Airways stated that they are doing everything possible to make passengers of a failed flight feel comfortable: they were provided with hotel rooms, as well as food and drinks.

Passengers of another flight British Airwayswho flew along the same route, said that they were trapped in a snow trap for three hours without food and hot drinks.

Their flight also departed with a delay and, due to the impossibility of landing in London, the plane was redirected to Bournemouth.

But after landing, more than 100 passengers stayed on the runway for three hours while the airline decided what to do next.

During this time, customers were denied hot drinks or access to food, because the crew was not allowed to carry out maintenance. At the same time, passengers were provided with drinking water.

In the end, after three hours, they were let out of the plane and taken by bus to London Heathrow Airport, where the plane was initially sent.

They arrived at their destination more than 9 hours later than the designated time.
