Election Commission employee in Georgia hounded because of video on the network: he is forced to hide
An Atlanta electoral commissioner has been threatened and forced into hiding after being falsely accused of throwing ballots. Writes about it New York Post.
A polling station official crumpled a piece of paper while processing paper ballots: this was shown on video broadcast at the State Farm Arena in Fulton County, Georgia, where the county is counting votes.
Georgia was the focus of post-election vote counting due to fluctuations between candidates. The video shows a man using a machine to separate the outer envelope from the inner envelope with the ballot, Fulton County Election Officer Rick Barron explained the situation, according to the Atlanta Journal Construction.
The clip, which was widely circulated on social media, along with speculative captions or comments, made viewers believe the worker was flustered, which is why he dropped the newsletter.
“What you need to know, however, is that these ballots are 8 ½ by 19 inches long,” Barron said during the press conference. “No one saw him take anything out of the envelope or that wrinkled piece of paper.” It was instructions, and it was a smaller sheet.”

Barron said Fulton County, which includes Atlanta, is considering worker protection.
“He was forced to leave his home and go to his friends,” Barron said. “He is afraid to drive his car because information about his car and license plate was shared online.”
