Everyone at least occasionally thought about giving up office life forever and working without leaving home (or without leaving the beach). According to Bree Weiler Reynolds, career development manager and coach at FlexJobs, the best option for finding a remote job is to find out which companies are 100% remote first. These organizations operate without a physical office or headquarters and rely on a suite of digital collaboration tools (e.g., online messaging, video conferencing, document sharing, project management programs).

FlexJobs has recently identified the top companies in its database to publish the largest number of remote jobs in 2019. According to Reynolds, these organizations cover various fields of activity and industries. But companies specializing in certain areas, including computers and IT, writing and editing, project management, marketing, software development and training, usually work best in a remote structure.

Applicants interested in these roles should highlight the qualities that demonstrate their strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as comfort in working with technologies and previous experience in remote work.

"Even if a company doesn't have any open positions in your field, you might consider contacting their HR team, or even the CEO if they're a smaller firm, and introduce yourself," says Reynolds.

1. Gitlab

GitLab is an open source coding platform that allows users to view, generate, analyze, and deploy code in a single user interface. GitLab is used by organizations such as NASA, Sony, Verizon, and Expedia.

2.Welocalize

This software development company provides support and services to users of MySQL and MongoDB databases, which optimize the operation of databases and improve the work performed on cloud and traditional programming platforms.
