Five children accused of killing a musician

Three girls and two boys are accused of robbing and killing X-year-old Kyle Yorlets.

According to the Nashville Police Department, three girls aged 12, 14 and 15 years and two boys aged 13 and 16 years are accused of killing Kyle Yorlets.

On Thursday, Yorlets was shot dead near his home in Nashville. A roommate discovered him that day, police said. Yorleta was taken to the medical center of Vanderbilt University, where they noted the death of the musician.

Police believe that the teenagers shot the musician after he refused to give them the keys to his car. Prior to that, the suspects had already managed to take away his wallet.

Then the teenagers hid on a stolen red pickup truck.

They were arrested the same day at Walmart, about six miles west of the place where Yorlets was shot. They found a stolen 9-mm pistol and another stolen vehicle.

According to the police, a second stolen and loaded weapon was found in the store.

All five suspects are kept in the center for minors.

Yorletts, a native of Pennsylvania, was a graduate of Belmont University and a lead singer of the Carverton group.

“We are shocked and forced to realize the reality that is now in front of us. We are heartbroken,” the band said in a statement released by their publicist.

The debut full-length album of the group was to be released in March.
