Five habits that will make you more organized

Organization is not an innate quality of a person; it can be nurtured and developed. Here are some tips to help you get organized.

1. Find a place where you feel natural

Any place that is not used for its intended purpose is perfect for solving problems. Faye Wolk, author of The New Order, suggests going to the garage or attic. That is, somewhere you don’t go every day.

2. Keep everything important in the “productivity triangle”

All that requires your attention, keep in the so-called triangle, namely: in the mail, in the calendar and in the diary.

3. Use the “rule of three” at the beginning of the day.

On your big to-do list, highlight three things you want to do today. "At the beginning of each day, mentally fast forward to the end of the day and ask yourself, 'When the day ends, what three things do I want to see completed?'" says Chris Bailey, author of The Productivity Improvement Project.

4. Plan your day

5. Let yourself be imperfect

If you are tired or “stuck,” you don’t need to get attached to things or put pressure on yourself. Allow yourself to be imperfect.
