Five killers ordered each other to kill one man: he survived
A Chinese court convicted five killers who ordered each other to kill the same man. Perhaps this is the most ridiculous contract murder case in history. Writes about this with the BBC.

It all started in 2013, when businessman Tang Yuhui hired a killer to eliminate his rival named Wei. Yuhui paid about 282 thousand dollars for this.
However, the killer did not perform the tasks on his own. He took half the amount, and offered the rest to another hired killer, so that he would do everything for him.
The chain of re-orders of the murder did not end there - the new killer ordered the murder of another, that one ordered the murder of another, that one ordered another one.
It all ended after the last killer in the chain also decided not to commit murder: instead, he approached the victim - Wei - and invited the man to fabricate his death.

Wei agreed, but then he turned to the police.
In the end, all six - the first customer and five killers - were convicted of attempted murder.
Businessman Tang Yuhei received five years in prison, the first killer - three and a half. The second and third hired killers - three years and three months, the fourth - three years, the fifth - two years and seven months.
