Putin first talked about grandchildren

Russian President Vladimir Putin, in an interview with American director Oliver Stone, noticed that he loved his grandchildren, but complained that he didn’t have enough time to play with them, reports CNN.
Stone did not ask any details, including how many grandchildren Putin has and who of the president’s daughters is their mother.
The president of Russia has two adult daughters, Katerina and Maria, who do not lead a public life. Vladimir Putin himself has repeatedly said that he is not going to talk about them in detail, stating only that they live and work in Russia.
There have been repeated reports in the press that Putin’s youngest daughter, under the name Katerina Tikhonova, heads the Innopraktika project, which collaborates with Moscow State University, and her husband is supposedly Kirill Shamalov, the son of Putin’s friend. The president himself neither confirmed nor denied these reports. In 2012, answering a question about grandchildren, Putin said that “the country hardly needs to know this,” writes “Radio Liberty».
The director also asked Putin about the situation with the former US intelligence officer Edward Snowden, who, after disclosing US state secrets, was granted asylum in Russia.
