8 September 20-year-old Naomi Osaka beat 36-year-old well-known American tennis player Serena Williams and became the first representative of Japan to win the US Open tennis tournament, held in New York. Williams did not agree with the decision of the judge and made a scandal, writes TJournal.

Ramos fined Williams in response to a game, and the score was 3: 5 in favor of Osaka. The judge explained this insult to his side.

Immediately after the game, Williams accused Ramos of sexism and stated that he "would never punish the man in this way." According to tennis players, men call the judges words worse.

“All this amazes me. But I’m going to continue to fight for women’s rights and for us to be equal with men,” said Serena Williams.

Because of the incident, Williams was fined 17 thousands of dollars, writes Air force. Of this amount, $4000 is a fine for the coach’s hint, another 3000 for a broken racket by an athlete in her heart, and another 10 for insulting a chair umpire.

Ramos was taken from the court immediately after the match. Contrary to tradition, the arbitrator did not participate in the award ceremony, where he was to be given a memorial sign.

During the champion speech of Osaka, which Williams fans booed at the awards ceremony, even apologized to the public for the victory. On the pedestal, she barely held back tears.

At the Australian Open, Osaka achieved the best result in his career, qualifying for the fourth round of the Grand Slam tournament. She lost the first racket of the world Romanian Simone Halep.
