Professional areas where the number of jobs increased in July

Job growth remained fairly stable throughout July. Over the past month, the US economy has added 164 000 jobs. Their number continues to grow at a fairly steady pace, despite the moderation of global growth and the threat of a trade war between the US and China.

And while wage growth remained relatively unchanged, the average hourly wage rose 8 cents to $ 27,98, and wages increased by only 3,2 percent over the same period last year.

“Job growth continues, but the pace of change is slowing, which is a challenge for the U.S. economy,” said Chris Zaccarelli, chief investment officer at independent adviser Alliance.

The field added 31 jobs in July, bringing the total for the year to 000. Employment increased by 300 in computer systems engineering and related services. In total, the industry accounted for about a third of the increase in professional and technical services employment, both in July and throughout the year.

The number of jobs in this industry has grown by 30 000 over the past month, reflecting strong growth in 29 000 outpatient medical staff. During the year, there was an active job creation in the health sector.

In July, in the field of social assistance, the number of jobs increased by 20 000. For the year, the industry created 143 000 new jobs.

Employment in the financial sector grew in July at 18 000, mainly due to insurance companies and related activities.
