Google Drive application is closing
Google has officially announced that it is no longer supporting the work of the Google Drive application. Starting from 11 December, the application will not be supported by the service department, and from 12 March 2018 will completely stop its work.
Starting in October, users will see a reminder regarding the termination of the Google Drive desktop application.
Interestingly, the Google Drive service itself will continue its work, and users will be able to access it using two applications, depending on the functionality.
If you are an individual, then you will be recommended to use the Backup and Sync applications, which are analogues of the Google Drive and Google Photos Uploader.
Corporate customers will be offered to use the Drive File Streamer. This application allows you to save space on your computer and provide access to documents in Google Drive directly from your computer.
