Prigozhin said he was going to 'restore justice' in Russia and called on everyone to rise up against the government

The founder of Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, said that 25 of his soldiers "are going to figure out why chaos is happening in the country." He promised to "restore justice" in Russia and called on all residents of the Russian Federation to join him. Writes about it Meduza.

Prigozhin said that the positions of the mercenaries were attacked from the rear. He is sure that this is the work of the Russian army, and the order was given by Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.

“They deceived us and tried to deprive us of the opportunity to defend our homes. We were ready to make concessions to the Ministry of Defense, surrender our weapons, and find a solution on how we would continue to defend the country. But these scum did not calm down. Today, seeing that we are not broken, they launched missile attacks on our camps. A huge number of soldiers, our comrades in arms, died. We will decide how we will respond to this atrocity. The next step is ours,” Prigozhin published such an appeal on his Telegram channel.

After that, he recorded a message in which he stated that the decision had been made, and "the evil that the military leadership of the country bears must be stopped." In addition, he asked "not to resist."

“The Council of Commanders of the Wagner PMC made a decision. The evil carried out by the country's military leadership must be stopped. They neglect the lives of soldiers, they forgot the word "justice" and we will bring it back. Therefore, those who destroyed our guys today, those who destroyed tens, many tens of thousands of lives of Russian soldiers, will be punished. I ask you not to resist anyone. Anyone who tries to offer this resistance... We will consider this a threat and destroy it immediately. Including any roadblocks that get in our way. Any aircraft that we see above our heads. I ask everyone to remain calm and not to give in to provocations, to stay in their homes. It is advisable not to go outside along our route. After we finish what we started, we will return to the front to defend our Motherland. The presidential power, the government, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard and other structures will continue to work as usual. We will deal with those who are destroying Russian soldiers and return to the front. Justice will be restored in the troops, and after that justice will be restored for all of Russia,” Prigozhin said.

A few minutes later, he added that Shoigu had fled from Rostov-on-Don. He arrived there earlier, according to Prigozhin, in order to lead the operation to eliminate Wagner.

“Shoigu just cowardly fled from Rostov. At 21:00 he ran cowardly, like a woman. In order not to explain why he raised helicopters to destroy our guys, why he launched missile strikes. This creature will be stopped,” assured the founder of the Wagner PMC.

He stressed: “We are 25 thousand, and we are going to figure out why chaos is happening in the country. Twenty-five thousand are waiting as a tactical reserve, and the strategic reserve is the whole army and the whole country. Everyone who wants to join, we must end this disgrace.”

After reports that he was preparing a military coup, Prigozhin recorded several more appeals: “This is not a military coup. This is a march of justice. Our actions do not interfere with the troops. Most of the military strongly supports us.”

Shortly thereafter, Prigozhin called on all "patriots of Russia" to take to the streets and promised that "Shoigu would be hanged in Red Square."

According to the Telegram channel UNIAN, the FSB opened a criminal case on incitement to armed rebellion.

“We demand that illegal actions be stopped immediately,” the Russian department said. — In the National Anti-Terrorist committee, the allegations circulated on behalf of Yevgeny Prigozhin have no basis. In connection with these statements, the FSB of Russia opened a criminal case on the fact of calling for an armed rebellion. We demand an immediate halt to illegal actions."

And in the Rostov region, where the Wagner is supposedly heading, announced the plan "Fortress".
