US government changes its mind to deport illegal immigrants in need of medical care

The US government has partially changed its decision to suspend requests for deferred deportation of foreigners receiving vital medical treatment in the United States or having other special circumstances. Writes about it ABC News.

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service said it would send out notifications of reopening of all deferred deportation cases this week that had been discontinued from 7 on August.

Earlier, on 7 in August, the agency announced that it would no longer consider requests to delay the deportation of illegal immigrants receiving vital medical care, and ordered all applicants pending their applications to leave the United States within 33 days.

Mahsah Hanbabay of the American Association of Immigration Lawyers said that this period is too short and does not meet the necessary requirements.

The American Civil Liberties Union said it will file a lawsuit against this decision.

U.S. Rep. Judy Chu, a California Democrat who convened a hearing on Friday on September 5, said the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services decision should not be partially reversed, but reversed.
