During a trip to the Moscow metro, a Tajik citizen pretended to be infected with a coronavirus and was fighting in a fit. Now he is in jail, two of his alleged accomplices have been detained, reports DW.
The Cheryomushkinsky District Court of Moscow decided to detain for 30 days a Tajik citizen Karomatullo Dzhaborov, who staged a rally in the metro. The man pretended to be infected with the new 2019-nCoV coronavirus and had cramps on the floor of the car. As reported on Monday, February 10, the press service of the court, the man will be held in jail until March 8.
“The court found no grounds for choosing a more lenient measure of restraint than detention,” the decision notes.

Up to five years in prison
A case has been opened against Jaborov under the article “Hooliganism”, under which he faces up to five years in prison. The defendant’s lawyer, Alexey Popov, claims that by his actions he only attracted “the attention of the authorities to the problem.”
Meanwhile, as reported by the Interfax agency, the capital police detained two Muscovites - the prankster's alleged accomplices. We are talking about “unemployed residents of the capital,” clarified the representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Irina Volk.
“They chose a preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave,” she added. Law enforcement officers also conducted searches, during which they seized a computer and cell phones.

The video was later posted on one of the video hosting sites.
