Utah resident Duane Youd died when the Cessna 525 Citation Jet he was piloting crashed after a man flew it into his home with his wife and her son inside, hours after he was arrested on domestic violence charges.

The incident occurred in the town of Fork Canyon, the sheriff's office received a message about the use of force by Udus against his wife, writes CNN.

“They were drinking, an argument started and he started beating his wife, and witnesses called the police, reporting that a man had hit a woman,” said Noemi Sandoval, a spokeswoman for the local police department.

Yuda’s wife and her son were at the house during the crash, but they managed to escape and survived.

Neighbors said they saw a circling plane, which sank lower and lower until it crashed into a house.

According to police, this was not the first case of domestic violence involving Yuda.
