He told reporters about this at the Olympic National Sports Complex after leaving the treatment room, after taking tests again, reports “Ukrainian Truth".

“This is not a whim, this is an absolutely necessary and important procedure so that our nation of 45 million has firm convictions and trust that a person addicted to drugs or alcohol cannot become our president and supreme commander,” Poroshenko said. .

The President noted that he did not know the cost of research of the volunteer anti-doping organization VADA, which passed the tests, because he did not pay for her services.

Answering the question whether he considers the procedure humiliating, the president noted that “on the contrary, failure to pass this test is a humiliation for the country.”

Representatives of VADA said that Poroshenko submitted his urine for analysis, “packed everything himself into containers “A” and “B”, and these samples will be sent to the USA.”

“The results will probably be out early next week because it takes 48 to 71 hours,” the experts explained.

They also waited for the procedure of the second presidential candidate, Vladimir Zelensky, whose headquarters сообщилthat the showman will not come for repeated analyzes.
