Democrats of the US House of Representatives sent agendas to major international banks. They requested information about the finances of President Donald Trump, as well as about deals with Russian banks, writes TJournal with reference to the New York Times.

According to the source, familiar with the content of the summons, congressmen are interested in transactions that banks conducted with the persons involved in the list of money laundering suspects from Russia and other Eastern European countries. The agenda was received by Deutsche Bank, Germany’s largest bank, and several other banks, including Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America.

Deutsche Bank spokeswoman Kerry McHugh told the publication that the company is “engaged in a productive dialogue” with the committees.

March 22 ended an investigation into Russia's interference in the American election. US special prosecutor Robert Muller in his report stated that he did not reveal Trump's conspiracy with Russia. He concluded that the Russian government was trying to influence the American elections through cyber attacks and the “trolley factory”, and Trump and his staff were not involved in any of these interventions.

During investigations were launched charges against 34 people, including Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort, his former personal lawyer Michael Cohen and former national security adviser Michael Flynn.
