A man in eastern Moscow took a family hostage - a man, a woman and a child. The man killed one hostage. The invader was detained.

“As a result of the joint actions of the police officers and the Rosgvardia, measures were taken to detain a man who had kept a family of three on the Molostov street. The malefactor caused injuries to one of people held by the man to the man as a result of which he died ", - told in department.

The police added that the attacker, Alexander Borovoy, had been injured during the arrest, and now he is being taken to a medical facility.

The woman and child in the apartment were not injured, the press service noted.

According to preliminary information, the man held people hostage because of domestic conflict. It was about his neighbors from a room in the same apartment, told RBC in the press service of the State Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow. Eyewitnesses reported congestion of police and passers-by at the house where the attack was committed.

TASS and Interfax, citing law enforcement sources, reported that the conflict in the apartment was due to a property dispute. According to preliminary data, the son, who was in conflict with his father, sold half of the apartment to outsiders, who began to make efforts to evict the father completely from the apartment on the Molost's street in Perovo's neighborhood in the east of the capital. According to preliminary data, the father appealed to the police, but did not receive any reaction, ”said a Tass interviewee.

A criminal case has been opened on the fact of the murder and the taking of hostages, RBC was informed.
