Police departments of the city of Concord, located near San Francisco, California, arrested 23-year-old Ross Fark, who was suspected of planning a massacre of Jews, writes Newsweek.

According to the investigation, the man wrote antisemitic threats in a chat on an online video game platform. One of the game participants reported threats to the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Then, the bureau referred these applications to the Concord Police Department.
“The comments included threats against Jewish people and plans to stage a mass shooting at a synagogue, as well as threats to shoot at law enforcement and claims that he had an assault rifle. The specific places where he planned these actions were not indicated in the messages,” the police report said.
The young man was arrested at his home “without incident,” police said. During the search, officers found an illegal AR-15 semi-automatic rifle in California and several magazines, but no ammunition. The semi-automatic weapon was self-assembled.
Detectives also discovered Nazi literature, camouflage clothing and a sword.
It is noted that while playing on the Steam platform, the man used the nickname “Adolf Hitler (((6 Million))).”
He is now in prison in Contra-Costa County, California.
“I will probably kill about 30 Jews and then about five policemen because I decided to fight to the death,” Farka wrote in one post. He also allegedly called Jews “subhumans.”

The arrest followed a series of killings in religious institutions and coincided with the reported increase in the number of hate crimes and anti-Semitism.
In October 2018, the gunman broke into Pittsburgh Synagogue "Tree of Life" during the morning worship service on Saturday and killed a 11 man, injuring six people. In April, 2019, another armed man entered the synagogue Chabad Poway near San Diego, California, killed one woman and injured three others.
These attacks and other non-lethal incidents of violence led some synagogues to install metal detectors and other infrastructure to improve security.
