Traveling on vacation just got easier: Frontier Launches New Flights to Puerto Rico from 7 U.S. Cities, And Now They're Discounted

Frontier Airlines has launched several new direct flights to Puerto Rico from 7 cities in the US mainland for the summer holidays, reports Travel&Leisure.

Last week carrier added flights from San Juan, the capital of Puerto Rico, to five US cities. Routes run between Luis Munoz Marin International Airport and Cleveland, Baltimore, Chicago (MDW), Dallas (DFW) and Detroit.

Frontier has also added two flights between Puerto Rico and Florida. This includes a route between Rafael Hernandez International Airport in Aguadilla and Tampa, as well as a flight between Mercedita International Airport in Ponce and Orlando.

On May 11, the airline will add flights from San Juan to Cancun, Mexico.

“Our major expansion in Puerto Rico will connect the island to some of the most popular destinations in the United States, as well as Cancun,” said Daniel Schurz, senior vice president of commercial for Frontier Airlines. “In addition to increasing tourism on the island, Puerto Ricans now have more access to Frontier’s Low Fares Done Right program to visit friends and family in the U.S.”

Travel passes

Frontier has cut the price of its unlimited summer pass up to $500, it can be purchased until May 31. The pass is valid until September 30th throughout the United States, including Puerto Rico, as well as in Mexico. Frontier also sells unlimited Annual GoWild Pass! Pass, which offers a year of flights at a single flat rate. This subscription currently costs $1.
