Killed in the Kansas Waterpark 10-year-old boy was beheaded
Dead August 7 On the world's tallest water slide, located at a water park in Kansas City, 10-year-old Kaleb Schwab was beheaded during the descent.
It is reported Associated Press with reference to a source close to the investigation.
On the hill, the son of the American congressman, Caleb, sat with two women. During the descent, they injured their faces, and the boy died.
A spokesman for the water park refused to discuss the circumstances of Caleb's death.
At least two people who recently rode Verruckt, said that nylon seat belts were unbuttoned during the ride. It is unclear whether this played any role in the boy’s death.
The park administration reported the resumption of work of the 10 august ridesafter they were closed for several days due to the tragedy, but the Verruckt hill will not work until the end of the season.
The water attraction Verruckt, opened in July 2014 of the year, is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the highest hill in the world. When descending from it, the speed is up to 96 kilometers per hour.
Kansas is one of several states that do not require regular inspection by amusement park inspectors. Changes to state law were made 35 years ago.
In addition, as previously reported, children under 14 are not allowed to ride the extreme Verruckt attraction.
